Welcome to theflicktick.com and its spontaneous resuscitation. As I’ve probably explained to some of you already, I had almost given up and discontinued the blog because of my negligent updating over the year. However, due to serendipitous circumstances that won’t let me do that I’ve come to decide that this blog might have an entirely new purpose, one that is deeply involved in film like what I initially intended it for. Recently, a group of bloggers have decided to come together to enthusiastically watch film and I’ve seen the list, some of them I am equally excited to watch.
Whereas this blog used to be my personal corner for film, I am opening it up to other writers who are willing to share their words about this specific entertainment experience. We will constantly be updating this space for future events of the Davao Film Lovers Group with a caveat to embrace all kinds of film genres and appreciate the discourse. Also, The Flick Tick will compile Movie reviews from different contributors who undoubtedly have varying tastes in film. This is all for the love of film and enriching our range whilst we are in Davao City. I have also come to understand, that there are some titles brought up in the mailing list that are unfamiliar to some. Let us make it our mission to educate each other as well as respect the many facets of this wonderful art.
